After Jack gets out of the Navy he needs a new place to stay for cooking school while Mr. Roper tries to beat his drunk driving charges at the Municipal Court, Larry tries to get Jack to live with Janet and Chrissy when he finds out the girls can\u2019t cook and Jack is enrolled at cooking school.Janet and Chrissy must help their old roommate Cindy move out and find her a new apartment while still covering this month\u2019s rent and still have to help get Mr. Roper out of his drunk driving charges while trying to find someone to cook supper for a big guest coming to visit their apartment later this week. Cindy let\u2019s Jack stay in her old room with Chrissy while she\u2019s going to be away while they try and convince Mr. Roper to go along with the plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LOS ANGELES \/ SANTA MONICA, 1978:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chrissy: \u201cSomeone stole my show! The Chrissy Show!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chrissy: \u201cThey said Cindy wasn\u2019t our old roommate and put someone else on it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janet: \u201cNow Jack has to sleep in the living room and Mr. Roper comes over every time we do anything and Cindy has to move back in with us and Teri.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Teri: “No way, Jack will never go for it!.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Larry: Well it\u2019s either that or back to the YMCA.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr.Roper: “What happened with Cindy?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chrissy: “They changed her name on the show!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chrissy: “Plus we won’t get paid for twenty five years.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Roper, offering help: “We’ll wait until then, cash the cheque and then change the names on the tape.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Teri: “What about now?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Roper: “I don’t know…let’s start drinking and open a flower shop.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Roper: “You can all stay with me in your own apartment,…as long as there’s no “funny business”…if you know what I mean.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janet:, cutting in “…but Mr. Roper…what about the show? They changed Cindy’s name on the show?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Roper: “What are you talking about?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Roper: “What happened with Cindy?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chrissy: “She’s stuck in a situation, and might need some help.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Roper: “Just get it resolved…but I need you back at the flower shop.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Roper: “And remember, no “funny business”.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Roper looking at Janet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janet: “Yes, Mr. Roper.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
