In the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1978 Players Handbook this is the Official Rule, up to 18 Ability Score you only get one weapon adjustment and then 1 spell book with slots 1 – 9, starting at first level.

This system only allowed some player character to play beyond level 10 and only allowed for one spell book starting at Level One.

This is released on D20 using Advanced Dungeons & Dragons as the rule set for DRAGON ADVENTURES, our Dragon Adventures patch officially expanded the closed abandoned original Advanced Dungeons & Dragons system.

ADDED SECOND ABILITY SCORE COLUMN FOR SCORES 19- 25

Use both columns simultaneously and then add first bonus plus second bonus to get your ability score bonus for over 18.

New DRAGON ADVENTURES D20 RPG BETA Expanded Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Rules System

Adding the second Ability Score Column played at the same time as the first allows the Original Game to be played the way described in the original book.

Play in the game never happened for over Ability Score values 18 but the rules were placed in the game.

This system was scrapped and 2nd Edition was released which is a separate model.

Playing with a second ability score column allows the original character to continue in the game as the original game intended.

I’m not saying this would be the only version, but this DRAGON ADVENTURES game patch is a version playable on Advanced Dungeons & Dragons to play the original game on finished rules as originally intended.

The implications…

This game patch, second ability score column expansion, means all new “expansion levels” have opened on DRAGON ADVENTURES D20 RPG BETA which are considered OFFICIAL ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS game slots on it’s own system.

For example updating the Ability Score columns updates every character and game function for all levels Ability Scores 3 – 25.

That means there are no weapon adjustments for any weapons or equipment for over over scores 18 but these new official slots in the game have opened.

It’s all the equipment lists, magic, etc. equipment lists expanded for the new game of over scores 18.

Plus it opens all new levels for all monster characters as the model expands their ability scores as well and it opened new monster slots and game adventure settings for new levels in the higher levels of the game and “Unearthed Arcana”.

Like an expansion of a whole new rules version of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons for all characters and adventure settings, like 500 books easy, for discovering this patch on the Open Gaming License on D20.

Which means by developing DRAGON ADVENTURES RPG BETA on D20 it has already become an “official game system model” by becoming a copy of the Original Advanced Dungeons & Dragons on D20 and owns all the game expansion slots for the abandoned game on it’s expansion.

For example the Monster Manual and Dungeon Masters’s Guide easily get tripled new stats value locations for new monster slots and dungeon expansion.

This opens up a whole new game on DRAGON ADVENTURES which owns the new expanded levels on Advanced Dungeons & Dragons on D20.

It means we get to pick all the name’s and adventures from the undiscovered section of the abandoned version of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.

Probably enough for 500 books and titles of Official Advanced Dungeons & Dragons run on DRAGON ADVENTURES RPG BETA Game Patch with all new official spells, weapons, equipment, monsters and adventures that are considered Official in the original rules in the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Players Handbook on DRAGON ADVENTURES.

Example Official Original Advanced Dungeons & Dragons titles generated on the open system include all “Unearthed Arcana” book levels, adventure books for ability scores 3 – 25, original adventure modules to go with other original titles on the system such as “Dungeoneers Survival Guide” and “Wilderness Adventure Guide”.

These basic title level adventures were never written for the original Advanced Dungeons & Dragons including adventure and rule modules for basic settings not covered for characters in the Dungeon and Wilderness Settings.

The new DRAGON ADVENTURES game patch allows new material to be written on these newly discovered adventure settings.

This will mean new “Dungeoneer” and “Wilderness” titles have opened on the new rules system that are official Advanced Dungeons & Dragons undeveloped titles available on DRAGON ADVENTURES on D20.
